I know the 100 days is over but I’ve made it a habit & now I eat clean & exercise without having to remind myself! awesomesauce. I might close this one & start another…
do i dare say it?
my legs are looking better in heels lately :)
oh yeahh.. .another 40 mins on the elliptical done & dusted! i like that i can get a little bit further every day, very encouraging. i’ll stop at 45 mins though, and then concentrate on harder HIIT. tonight’s show - dexter :) i am more than half way through my 100 day challenge. really bummed that the whole month of july is a write off, but i will persevere!
managed to do 20 mins on the elliptical, by far the longest I can go in a session all because i fixed the darn tension on it, lol. floated between 2 and 5, sort of my version of HIIT. also helped - watching breaking bad, instead of listening to a playlist, so I’ll have to do this from now on earlier, i pushed the pram to the shops & pushed it back FULL of groceries. probably at least...
dr said I can start easing myself into exercise again :) will start with weights & light cardio i want to fix my elliptical before i start thought. it’s definately on the hardest level, and i know if i start up again hard, my lungs won’t like it :/ i was getting puffed out on it after 15 minutes, and i’ve seen people at the gym gliding along on it - so something is...
so my pneumonia got a little worse, had to go into the ER last Friday for an IV, and i’m still at my parents house recovering… it will be a few more weeks before i’m totally ok - and i’m not risking it, because if it comes back, it will come back worse :/ the ER visit was ‘fun’.. it was friday 13th, got there at 7pm and was number 26 on the list! saw the dr...
bah! big bump in the road of my 100 day challenge!!! I have friggin pneumonia :( have been chilling at my patents house the last 5 days so no elliptical and hardly any food (no appetite at all). I’m starting to feel better now I’m on day 2 of antibiotics but I’m terribly short of breath so I have to rest as much as possible to heal. I’m so close to going to hospital...
have been keeping up with the elliptical, getting to 2km faster each day. listening to new music helps, rather than watching the tv. peeked at the scale this morning at it said 65kg which is as low as i’ve gotten this year before i went back up (meal replacement stuff a few months ago). i’d be happy to crack 60kg and just stay there for a while :)
rest day :) but I did go for a walk with my baby boy
my sister & my husband tried out my elliptical today and confirmed that my tension knob doesn’t work AND seems to be stuck on the toughest setting, lol so no wonder I can’t do more than 5 minutes straight yet!! haha. I won’t fix it (eg take it apart) so I’ll concentrate on doing intervals with it instead - 3 mins on / 1 min off 2 mins on / 1 min off repeat …
quicker today :) will step it up and keep doing a bit more each day 2.5km in 9 minutes currently
moved & shakes on the elliptical this afternoon :) ps exercise does help cramps…
Day 7 again!
Jumped back on the elliptical for 10 minutes before getting dinner ready… Oh yeah!
getting it early today - again was able to go longer without stopping, less breaks and recovery is better x
10PM, kids in bed, not tired yet… elliptical! no excuses here :D even after a rest day, i was able to go longer without stopping. not yet hitting my goal of 26 minutes non stop, but i’ll take 15 minutes non stop after 1 week of starting
rest day :)
spent a little longer on the elliptical - hooray! didn’t get off it, but i did stop for a minute every now and then, but managed to pick myself up and keep going for about 15 minutes. every little bit counts.
my cheapie (but awesome) elliptical arrived this afternoon, so I spent an hour putting it together which should count as a workout in itself but anyway! only managed to do 3 x 3mins before I felt like dying BUT I won’t let that deter me. I have 99 more days to curb the habit of giving up too quickly.
