I know the 100 days is over but I’ve made it a habit & now I eat clean & exercise without having to remind myself! awesomesauce. I might close this one & start another…

oh yeahh.. .another 40 mins on the elliptical done & dusted! i like that i can get a little bit further every day, very encouraging. i’ll stop at 45 mins though, and then concentrate on harder HIIT.

i am more than half way through my 100 day challenge. really bummed that the whole month of july is a write off, but i will persevere!

managed to do 20 mins on the elliptical, by far the longest I can go in a session all because i fixed the darn tension on it, lol. floated between 2 and 5, sort of my version of HIIT.

also helped - watching breaking bad, instead of listening to a playlist, so I’ll have to do this from now on

earlier, i pushed the pram to the shops & pushed it back FULL of groceries. probably at least 30kgs in total, up hill. LOVED IT because i knew how sick i was 3 weeks ago with pneumonia, and LOOK AT ME NOW. TAKE THAT LEFT LUNG.

I just fixed my elliptical & OMG it flies now!!!!

it was the tension cable….. which meant I’d been stuck on level 8 since I got it, lol. level 1 is so so easy! I guess that mistake paid off :P

dr said I can start easing myself into exercise again :) will start with weights & light cardio

i want to fix my elliptical before i start thought. it’s definately on the hardest level, and i know if i start up again hard, my lungs won’t like it :/ i was getting puffed out on it after 15 minutes, and i’ve seen people at the gym gliding along on it - so something is definately up. not looking forward to taking it a part :(

in other health news, I’m having a huge penicillin allergic reaction .. red & itchy as HECK EVERYWHERE.. but I can breathe so I’m fine with that!!

so my pneumonia got a little worse, had to go into the ER last Friday for an IV, and i’m still at my parents house recovering… it will be a few more weeks before i’m totally ok - and i’m not risking it, because if it comes back, it will come back worse :/

the ER visit was ‘fun’.. it was friday 13th, got there at 7pm and was number 26 on the list! saw the dr at about 1:30am, IV in at 4:30am and was sent home at 8am because there were no beds at all. (some people were rocking up and DEMANDING bed & breakfast.. gees people. i was sitting in that chair in the waiting room for 13 hours and never saw a free bed).

it does feel good to breathe a bit easier, and not hear that gross cracking coming from my throat and lungs…. my left side feels like it was a stitch and my chest hurts but otherwise i’m okay to walk a little longer than last week.

i’m not worried about gaining weight while i’m sick, my nutrition is going good and i’m not going to exert myself when i should be resting.

there’s still time in my 100 day challenge to turn this around :)

at least 2-3kgs in a week due to the flu & pneumonia. I’ll probably put it back on since it was lost unhealthily but thats ok. just shocked that I got down to 64kg even though my clothes do feel baggy 

starting to feel a bit better each day, but not up for exercise yet until my lungs can handle it. still puffing around like an 80 year old chain smoker!

Eta- I just read an older post that said I was 65kgs- I remember checking again and it was back up to 67 the next day,lol

big bump in the road of my 100 day challenge!!! I have friggin pneumonia :( have been chilling at my patents house the last 5 days so no elliptical and hardly any food (no appetite at all).

I’m starting to feel better now I’m on day 2 of antibiotics but I’m terribly short of breath so I have to rest as much as possible to heal. I’m so close to going to hospital but I’m trying hard to avoid it.

I don’t believe in sacrificing your health, so I’ll probably take 2-3 weeks off and them keep going :) I’ll clean up my food intake when I’m
home next week.
